Wallpaper Returns to Prominence in Homes and Cottages
Rich colour palettes, striking textures, bold patterns, and an endless variety of sizes and styles have helped make wallpaper one of today's most sought-after interior design features.
It's one of the reasons wallpaper is making a strong comeback in homes and cottages across Muskoka and beyond. While it has remained a staple in commercial spaces for years, the medium has steadily returned to mainstream residential design, explains Chad Gilchrist of Roll-On Painting.
"We've definitely seen a lot more demand for wallpaper over the past couple of years - it's really having a revival," he says. "People are moving away from the stark white style that was popular for a while. I've been installing wallpaper for around 30 years, and our team genuinely enjoys doing it."
